In the US, this reasonable and gory slasher movie was released in an Unrated and an R-Rated version. Nearly all gore-effects were substituted by inoffensive footage.

In a close shot, Chrome Skull pulls the knife out of Cindy's head. At that, her head bangs back against the wall. In the R-Rated, the drawing out of the knife is only seen from a distant side view.
