Lucio Fulci's zombie classic was released in the US in a heavily cut R-Rated version on VHS under the titel '7 doors of death'. The full length Unrated version was released e.g. by Grindhouse/Anchor Bay on VHS and DVD.
After the man got hit into the face with the chain, the deep cut it has left can be seen.
The camera pans to the shoulder wound also caused by the chain.
The belly wound can be seen longer, the camera zooms on it as well.
The shot of the leg wound also is shorter in the R-Rated version.
The man can be seen writhing on the ground longer.
The nail is longer in the man's arm, blood streams out of the wound.
Five shots of the man's face melting away are missing, only the last two of those are included in the R-Rated version.
The title is different. In the R-Rated, it is called "7 Doors of Death", whereas the Unrated's title is "The Beyond".

When zombie Joe pushes the back of Martha's head into the spike the R-Rated stops. The Unrated goes on and the tip can be seen pushing her eye ball out of the socket.
Emily's dog bites her throat open and then tears her ear off.
