Goosebumps - Also Censored in Britain's Cinemas

Fantasy Film Gets Cut for Lower Rating

After it was already toned down in the US (see details), the Goosebumps movie will also be censored for UK cinemagoers.

The BBFC provides additional information about the adjustments in its database:

This film was originally seen for advice. The company was told it was likely to be classified 12A, but that their preferred PG could be achieved by making reductions to one scary scene. When the film was submitted for formal classification, this sequence had been acceptably reduced and the film was passed PG.

The film starts in UK cinemas on February 16th, 2016. That gives UK folks lots of time to debate whether or not to see it in cinemas or hope for an uncensored home video release later on.
