Vikings - US Release With Uncensored Episodes

Blu-ray of First Season Most Likely With the Nudes

The American History Channel produced its first real series and it has become an instant success. Vikings was liked so much by the audience that a second season is greenlit.

Since the series airs on basic cable, the episodes couldn't deliver the goods that pay tv formats bring to the table. But these goods do exist, as we could report earlier. The French airing came to our attention as it shows a nudity scene whereas the US version is more harmless.

And this more generous version of the series will find its way on the US Blu-ray in October 2013. Fox Home Entertainment announces the 9 episodes of the season as having extended and alternate scenes. The DVD doesn't have this hint. We'll see whether the Blu-ray is the better deal here. You can order it at Amazon.com.
