No Extended Version for the Twilight Finale?
During the promotion tour for the huge Twilight finale Breaking Dawn Part 2, director Billy Condon did not only talk about censorship for the PG-13 rating but also about his plans to release a longer version on DVD/BD. Currently, it doesn't look like that's gonna come out any time soon.
Summit Entertainment has recently announced the DVD and Blu-ray of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 and doesn't provide any information on the Extended Cut. Looks like twi-hards have to settle for the theatrical cut at the moment.
Hopes shouldn't be buried completely, though, since the Extended Cut for Part 1 didn't surface until recently and considerably later after the theatrical version was released and found its share of customers. It wouldn't come as a surprise if they were to follow the same strategy with the second film
The home video releases of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 will be released in the US on March 2nd, 2013.
