Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn Longer on Blu-ray

Unrated Version to Hit the Shelves

The pre-story of the game Halo 4 was told in a film entitled Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn which was produced for a budget of 5 million Dollars. The FX shots look accordingly quite well. Furthermore, it's not an animation film but has real actors.

At first, the online platform Machinima aired Forward Unto Dawn was shown as a 5-part mini series in October 2012, before it will be included in a Special Edition of the game Halo 4. Since December 4th, 2012, the film is also available on DVD and Blu-ray. In both cases, the film is featured as an Unrated Extended Cut, which means that it is prolonged from 75 to 90 minutes.
