BBFC guidelines demand cuts for a rating

It's the usual situation. The British BBFC has some guidelines that demand cuts automatically. While they stopped being overly strict over the years (e.g. with nunchaku use in scenes, which is not cut any longer), they remain serious when it comes to scenes in which horses are hurt. Those moments have to be cut if a distributor wants a BBFC rating.

Mostly, Asian history and fantasy films face this fate nowadays. This year, War of the Arrows was affected by those measures already. Now, it is joined by the title Sacrifice. It will be released in the UK on September 24th, 2012.
