Game of Thrones season 1 as new Limited Edition
As we reported earlier, the last episode of the first season of Game of Thrones was digitally altered so that a severed head doesn't look like the American ex-president George W. Bush anymore.
All future releases, no matter if we talk DVD or Blu-ray and also every airing on TV (although this is only confirmed for the US so far) will only show the altered version. Right on time for the start of the second season of the series, the US and UK get a fancy box with a dragon egg as a special gimmick which can be used as paperweight or handy dust catcher. A bonus Blu-ray with the first episode of season 2 will be on board, as well. The other bonus materials are identical to the earlier releases.
