The Dictator receives an unrated version

Newest film by Sacha Baron Cohen gets longer

Through his roles as Ali G. and Borat, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen achieved worldwide fame. However, his newest film The Dictator could not gain as much box office money as the studio had hoped.

Still, the upcoming release on DVD/BD could generate a bit more cash for the comedy. Paramount decided to put out an unrated version in order to raise the buyers' motivation.

As of yet, no details regarding the additional runtime or a release date for the "Banned & Unrated" edition is known but that'll change soon enough.
