Lockout - DVD/BD will contain Unrated Version

Late happy ending for US viewers in home theaters

Earlier this year, we reported that Luc Besson's newest production Lockout was heavily censored for the US theatrical run in order to achieve the lucrative PG-13 rating. This is nothing new for the French producer/director, his previous films Taken and Colombiana faced similar fates.

As expected, American viewers interested in the uncut version of the movie will get this opportunity with the upcoming releases on DVD and Blu-ray. As the cover makes clear, the film will be on board as an unrated version.

On July 17th, 2012, Lockout will be available in stores.
