Teen Wolf - DVD features extended season finale
Interested film fans have likely heard of the comedy Teen Wolf starring Michael J. Fox. It was a big success in the 80's and generated a sequel and cartoon series in the process. In 2011, MTV decided to remake the film in a TV-series format.
For this, the producers oriented themselves at hits like The Vampire Diaries rather than being overly faithful to the original film. In fact, they borrowed just the title and the basic structure and added a romance plot and extensive mythological elements to it. After its start in summer 2011, it produced good viewing numbers.
Before the second season arrives, the first one will be released on DVD on May 22nd, 2012. According to TVShowsOnDVD, the set will contain all 12 episodes and a lot of extra materials. To raise fan excitement, the season finale is available in an extended version. Details regarding the additional content are not known at this point.
